PENINSULA COORDINATING COUNCIL OF LIONS
The Peninsula Council is a special committee of Lions District 4-C4. It coordinates the activities of Lions Clubs from Brisbane to Palo Alto and sponsors the Peninsula Police and Fire Awards that are presented each March.
The Peninsula Council has a dinner meeting on the fourth Monday of each month where participating Lions Clubs report on and coordinate their activities. In this way, the results of new initiatives can be monitered and useful ideas quickly adapted for use throughout the District.
Working with its member Lions Clubs, the Council raises funds for and organizes the Police and Fire Awards Dinner, held annually in March. This is the only Peninsula-wide public venue in which our Police and Fire officers are celebrated for their service and heroism. Get the Police & Fire Awards Sponsorship Form.
